Hans Jakob von Koseritz

Hans Jakob von Koseritz (born March 10, 1610 in Burgkemnitz , † April 10, 1648 in Wittenberg ) was a member of the Fruit Bringing Society .

Life

Koseritz was the son of the court judge Daniel von Koseritz and his wife Martha von Köler .

From April 17, 1618 Koseritz attended the University of Wittenberg and on November 17, 1634 he enrolled at the University of Leiden .

On November 18, 1639, together with his brother Hans Georg von Koseritz, Prince Ludwig I of Anhalt-Köthen accepted him into the Fruitful Society. This gives him the company name of the binding and the motto young vines . As an emblem, rushes in the moor are given to him . The entry Koseritz can be found in the Koethen Society Register under no.348.

Koseritz held half of the fiefdom of Burg- and Neukemnitz, which had been in the family since 1549.

On March 22, 1641 Koseritz married Henriette Sophie von der Asseburg (1611–1685); After her death, he had a large sandstone epitaph with rich ornamentation and inscription field built for her in the Burgkemnitz church.

Seven years later, Hans Jakob von Koseritz died at the age of 38 on April 10, 1648 in Wittenberg.
