Koseritz was the name of an old noble family from Upper Lusatia with the parent company Caseritz near Kamenz .
history
The family first appears in a document in 1344 with Konrad von Koseritz , caretaker of the Teutonic Order of Prussian Holland. Lutold von Koseritz appears in a document on Groß-Särchen, Oberlausitz in 1410. The uninterrupted line of tribe of the sex begins with Nicol von Koseritz († 1517) on Kessel near Bischofswerda .
The family owned properties in Electoral Saxony , such as B. in Nauendorf, Döbernitz, Cosabra, Rüdigsdorf and Nauenhof.
