Hans Jander
Hans Jander (born June 8, 1930 ; † March 26, 2011 in Weilerswist ) was a German concert pianist and professor of piano at the State University of Music Rhineland / Cologne University of Music .
In the 1958/59 season, Jander took part in the piano subject in the “Federal Selection of Concerts of Young Artists” (BA KJK) competition initiated by the German Music Council . In September 1959 he took part in the Beethoven courses of the "Fondazione Orfeo" (today Wilhelm Kempff Cultural Foundation) in Positano , led by Wilhelm Kempff . At the Musikhochschule Köln he led one of the master classes for piano. With piano recitals he performed a. a. in Baden-Baden (1959) and in London (concert season 1968/69). He also appeared as a soloist at the chamber concerts in the Villa Michels in Andernach .
