Hans Kammler (political scientist)

Hans Kammler (born December 7, 1935 in Neusatz ; † May 26, 2014 in Stuttgart ) was a German political scientist .

Live and act

Hans Kammler received his doctorate in 1966 at the University of Cologne in which political scientist Ferdinand A. Hermens Dr. rer. pole. and then worked here as a scientific assistant and from 1972 as a scientific senior councilor. In 1972 he completed his habilitation. From 1978 to 1979 Kammler was visiting professor at the Institute for Political Science at Kiel University . From 1980 to 2001 he worked as a professor of social science at the Institute for Social Sciences at the University of Hohenheim . He belongs to the " Cologne School " of political science.
