Hans Kasdorf

Hans Kasdorf (born July 27, 1928 in Alexandrowka , USSR ; † March 26, 2011 in Fresno , USA ) was a German theologian of Russian-German descent.

Life

The son of a Mennonite refugee family, Kasdorf grew up in Waldheim in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . After his marriage to Friede Reimer in Canada (September 20, 1953), the couple served as missionaries in Brazil . In studies in North America, he addressed the topic of emissions much time and was in 1976 with a study of Gustav Warneck doctorate . After many years teaching at Fresno Pacific College, he taught at Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary (1978-1993). From 1994 to 1998 he developed the Department of Mission Studies at the FTH Gießen .
