Johannes Franciscus Catharinus Klok (born February 22, 1969 in Purmerend , North Holland ) is a Dutch magician .

Hans Klok was born the son of the engineer Klaas (1940–2002) and his wife Gerda (* 1939). He began to be interested in magic when he was given a magic box as a toy by his grandfather at the age of ten. At the age of 14 he won the European Youth Magician Champion Trophy . In 1992 he got his first own show, which already attracted 170,000 viewers in the Netherlands . Many of his illusions were built by his father. In 1994/95 he first appeared in Las Vegas and in 1996 he was hired for the NBC show The Greatest Magicians in the World .

He received the Golden Europe television award in 2000 for best entertainer. In 2003 he became the official ambassador of UNICEF and toured over 60 cities in Europe and Dubai with his Show History of Magic . At the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he had his largest audience so far, when he had the trophy appear in front of 500 million viewers in 152 countries. On June 1, 2007, the show The Beauty of Magic , produced by Joop van den Ende, premiered at the Planet Hollywood Resort , in which Pamela Anderson also appeared as an assistant. This makes him the first Dutch entertainer to have his own show on the Las Vegas Strip . In April 2008, Hans Klok toured Germany with his show Live from Las Vegas . His new show is called House of Mystery .

Since coming out in 1991, he was in a relationship with a physiotherapist for 17 years, who brought a son into the relationship.
