Hans Klupper

Hans Klupper (born October 27, 1937 in Klagenfurt ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and career officer. From 1982 to 1989 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After primary and secondary school, Klupper attended a commercial academy and completed his schooling with the Matura . He subsequently graduated from the military academy and was promoted to lieutenant in 1959. After that, Klupper was employed as a professional officer in the Austrian Armed Forces and was involved in various trade union functions. Within the party, Klupper was active as a district party chairman, he got involved in local politics in 1970 when he was elected to the local council in Sommerein . Between 1985 and 1999 he was the executive councilor, and from 1985 to 2008 he was also the president of the Lower Austrian Civil Protection Association. At the state level, Klupper represented the ÖVP from October 7, 1982 to April 16, 1998, and from June 7, 1993 he held the position of deputy chairman of the financial control committee.
