Hans Kreis (born July 18, 1948 in Forchheim ) is a German author of books on life support and business consultants.

Life

After training as a graphic designer , he worked as an employee in an advertising company. In 1976 he founded his own company. Further company foundations followed: a publishing house, a special agency for international market entry and the international management consulting firm "Imaco" as well as the publication of the magazine "Wirtschafts-Informations-Report" for a new way of thinking in companies. In 1990, Kreis sold his company and concentrated on coaching and developing new methods.

In 1994 he developed a new process for finding visions, which is now used in business and in the medical context: as "vision coaching" and as "vision therapy". Visions-Coaching is registered as a trademark with the German Patent and Trademark Office.

"Vision Therapy" is the first therapy that works with human longing. The transpersonal and depth psychological approach is mainly focused on the resources and desires of the patient. He differentiates between real moving visions and simple goals. The "vision-therapeutic" approach aims at fulfilling the longing for life. This "visionary" process of knowledge can be made tangible through the transpersonal orientation of the therapy. These insights should enable patients to shape the change in their life.

In 2009, Hans Kreis was awarded the Otto Mainzer Prize for the Science of Love by the Otto Mainzer Foundation for his book "Live True Love", as had previously been the case with therapists Michael Lukas Moeller and Jürg Willi .
