Hans L'Arronge

Hans L'Arronge (born January 18, 1874 in Berlin , † July 17, 1949 in Berlin) was a German writer .

Life

As the son of the playwright and theater director Adolph L'Arronge , he studied at the University of Berlin and received his doctorate in 1897. phil. at the University of Jena . From 1897 he worked as a director and dramaturge at the Berlin theater, from 1898 as a dramaturge at the Lessing Theater in Berlin. Since 1899 he also gave practical drama lessons. From 1912 to 1917 he was the director of the drama school at the Stern Conservatory . From 1928 he lived temporarily in Jena, but returned to Berlin in the 1930s. He wrote a number of novels and numerous, partly unprinted plays. Maximilian Harden wrote about it in the present : "The speed with which the young L'Arronge always dances out of the scenes as if called, seems to be the only talent he has inherited from his papa."

He found his final resting place in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf .
