Hans Leicher

Hans Leicher (born March 20, 1898 in Frankfurt am Main , † 1989 ) was a German ear, nose and throat doctor and university professor.

Career

Leicher was born as the son of the civil servant Ludwig Leicher and his wife Karoline. After studying and habilitation, he was a private lecturer at the University of Frankfurt am Main from 1928 . In 1935 he was appointed part-time associate professor. From 1947 he was director of the ENT clinic in Stuttgart. In 1953 he accepted an appointment at the University of Mainz , where he stayed until his retirement in 1966. In 1964 and 1965 he was rector of the university.

Leicher had been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. since 1916 . Hasso-Nassovia Frankfurt am Main .
