Hans Lemmel

Hans Lemmel (born March 22, 1889 in Klanzig in the Schivelbein district , Pomerania ; † March 10, 1975 in Hannoversch Münden , Lower Saxony ) was a German forest scientist .

Live and act

In 1925 Lemmel became a member of the Reich Forestry Council. In addition, he worked from 1925 as a professor at the higher forestry school in Eberswalde . Following his military service in World War II and subsequent imprisonment, he returned to forest science. From 1947 to 1957 he taught as a professor at the Hannoversch Münden Forestry University . In November 1933 he signed the professors' declaration of Adolf Hitler at German universities and colleges .
