Hans Meuli

Hans Meuli (born August 7, 1897 in Nufenen , † April 25, 1971 in Bern ) was a Swiss military doctor and senior field doctor in the army .

Life

Meuli, son of Johann Lorenz and his wife Bertha, née Hilty, graduated in medicine at the Universities of Basel and Geneva in 1922.

In his military career he was last from 1946 to 1960 senior field physician in the army, from 1950 on in the rank of brigadier . From 1947 to 1949 he was President of the Permanent Committee of the International Congresses of Military Medicine and Pharmacy , founded in 1921 and renamed the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM) in 1990 .
