Life

Hans Parzinger worked in Munich; In 1905 he lived in the Königinstr. 67, 1906 in Ysenburgstr. 8, from 1907 to 1909 in Augustenstr. 80, from 1910 to at least 1921 in Leopoldstr. 53, 1930, 1936 and 1939 in Schönfeldstr. 28. He went on study trips to Italy and Greece.

In 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1910, 1911, and 1926 he showed his work at the annual exhibitions in the Munich Glass Palace . In 1908 he received a prize in the competition for a Valentin Easter Day monument .

He created numerous bronze statuettes, some of which were cast by the Adalbert Brandstetter art foundry in Munich and some of which are available in several casts. In addition, he created designs for porcelain figures. In 1932 the porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal in Selb produced his designs Grock , which shows the clown of the same name , and Fratellini , which refers to the clown family of the same name, in glazed, hand-painted porcelain.

His subjects were often nudes and themes from mythology. Parzinger's objects "always had a certain reference to his respective lifetime and the associated newest art movements".
