Hans Pohlmann

Hans Pohlmann (* 1892 ; † after 1958) was a German theologian and consistorial councilor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Pohlmann studied Protestant theology . His main interest was systematic theology . He became a licentiate in theology doctorate and priest ordained . One of his pastors was Schneidemühl .

Pohlmann was appointed to the Consistorial Council because he represented the völkisch - nationalist position of the German Christians . In particular , he tried to work out the supposed contrast between the faith of Jesus and that of his Jewish people in publications.

In 1939 he declared his collaboration with the Institute for Research and Elimination of the Jewish Influence on German Church Life . He was the last pastor at the Johanniskirche von Schneidemühl before the area fell to Poland through the Yalta Agreement .
