Hans Pollaene (born July 2, 1938 ) was a football player in the GDR . He played for SC Aufbau Magdeburg and BSG Lok Stendal in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of the East German Football Association.

Pollaene belonged to the team of SC Aufbau Magdeburg in 1959, which made it into the GDR league for the first time. In the first division season in 1960, however, the 22-year-old did not succeed in gaining a lasting foothold in the first team, he only made eight league appearances.

When SC Potsdam was founded in early 1961 as the new performance center of the GDR district of Potsdam , Pollaene joined its football section, which was represented with its first team in the second-rate GDR league . Pollaene played here until the end of 1963. Then he returned to the league, where he was active for a year at BSG Lok Stendal. He was used immediately at the beginning of the second half of the 1963/64 season and played eleven of the remaining 13 point games. He mostly played in left midfield, but also helped out as a striker or defender. In 1964/65 Pollaene was only used on the 3rd, 19th and 20th matchdays.

He then returned to Potsdam in the summer of 1965, where his former team SC Potsdam was still playing in the GDR league. In early 1966 it was spun off from the sports club and joined BSG Motor Babelsberg . Since Pollaene obviously saw no perspective for himself in this step, he left the team again at the end of the season and joined 1. FC Union Berlin . There he was only used in the 2nd team that played in the third-class Berlin district league . After only one year, Pollaene then changed again and played for the Berlin BSG Motor Köpenick from the 1967/68 season . In his first year, Pollaene was relegated with the Köpenickers from the GDR league. 1972 succeeded again for one year of promotion, but at the end of the 1974/75 season Pollaene had to end his football career at the age of 37 in the third-rate district league.
