Hans Reinecker

Hans S. Reinecker (* 1947 in Fieberbrunn , Tyrol ) is a German psychologist, professor emeritus for psychology and psychotherapy and an expert in behavior therapy and obsessive-compulsive disorder .

Live and act

Hans Reinecker studied psychology and education at the University of Salzburg , where he received his doctorate in 1973 and worked as a university assistant at the Institute for Psychology. From 1975 he headed the psychological counseling center at the institute and founded the working group for behavior modification together with two colleagues.

In 1980 he qualified as a professor and in 1982 became the chair of clinical psychology and psychotherapy at the University of Bamberg .

He was responsible for setting up the research and advice center, the psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic and the advanced training course for psychological psychotherapists (CIP Bamberg). From 1988 to 1990 he was spokesman for the clinical psychology / psychotherapy department and from 1996 to 1998 dean of the faculty of education / philosophy / psychology at the University of Bamberg. He has been licensed as a psychological psychotherapist since 1999 . From 2009 to 2011 he was managing director of the Institute for Psychology.

  • Founding member of the German Association for Behavioral Therapy (DVT)
  • Founding member of the German Society for Obsessive Compulsive Diseases (DGZ)
  • Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the DGZ
  • Appraiser in behavior therapy
  • Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Psychotherapy at the BMG
