Hans Schwade

Hans Schwade (born January 3, 1915 in Gotha ; † June 26, 1991 ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After high school, which he graduated with the Abitur, Hans Schwade studied from 1936 to 1938 at the University for Teacher Training in Bonn. From 1938 he was an elementary school teacher and from 1956 he was the principal of an elementary school. From 1939 to 1945 he did military service and was seriously damaged by the war. Schwade was last lieutenant in the reserve.

His son Wolfgang Schwade was mayor of Lippstadt from 1997 to 2005 .

politics

From 1958 Hans Schwade was district chairman of the CDU district association Lippstadt, from 1966 chairman of the regional culture committee of the CDU Westphalia-Lippe and a member of the state executive committee. He became councilor of the city of Lippstadt in 1952, and from 1956 he acted as chairman of the city's school and culture committee. From 1950 to 1964 Schwade was a member of the Lippstadt district council.

From March 9, 1967 to July 25, 1970, Hans Schwade was a member of the 6th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he moved.
