Hans Sonnleitner

Hans Sonnleitner (* 1931 in Karlsdorf , Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) was a German publisher and from 1982 to 2009 head of the publishing house of the “Donauschwäbischen Kulturstiftung” in Munich and author of several books on the history of the Danube Swabians .

Life

From 1945 to 1947, Hans Sonnleitner was interned as a “ Volksdeutscher ” in various prison camps in the Serbian Banat ( Vojvodina ). He then came to Germany, where he completed a degree in economics and then worked as a department director and authorized signatory at Siemens . In 1982 he founded with Josef Volkmar Senz et al. the publishing house of the "Donauschwäbischen Kulturstiftung" in Munich, of which he took over until 2009. He is the author of several books on the history of the Danube Swabians.
