Hans Stamer
Hans Joachim Fritz Hermann Stamer (born April 14, 1925 in Sande (Hamburg) , † March 8, 1999 in Kiel ) was a German agricultural scientist, university professor and State Secretary .
Life
Hans Stamer completed an agricultural apprenticeship after attending school in Bergedorf and Lohbrügge . From 1943 to 1945 he participated in the war. He passed the Abitur examination in 1947 and studied agricultural sciences at the University of Kiel with a diploma in 1950 and doctorate in 1952. Stamer also completed his habilitation in 1960 in Kiel and then taught there as a private lecturer. After substituting a professorship in Berlin in 1964/1965, he returned to Kiel as a professor, initially for agricultural market studies, and from 1979 for food policy and consumer policy. He retired in 1992.
From 1975 to 1979, Stamer was State Secretary in the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Agriculture.
