Hans Strahm (librarian)
Hans Strahm (born March 27, 1901 in Bern , † July 23, 1978 ibid) was a Swiss librarian and historian .
From 1939, Strahm was editor of the Berner Zeitschrift für Geschichte und Heimatkunde , from 1946 to 1972 director of the city library of Bern and from 1957 to 1972 honorary professor for librarianship and history at the University of Bern . In 1972 he was awarded the burger medal.
