Hans Thaler was an architect who planned buildings in Munich from 1885 to 1914 .

Many of these buildings from the Wilhelminian era , especially apartment buildings, have been preserved and are now listed; the list of monuments in Munich lists 53 buildings.

Thaler planned in the period of historicism mainly in the style of neo-renaissance , neo- baroque and art nouveau . Many Thaler buildings can be found in the Isarvorstadt district .
