Hans Ulrich Rudolf

Hans Ulrich Rudolf (born April 28, 1943 in Stuttgart - Bad Cannstatt ) is a German historian and university professor.

Life

In 1971 he was at the University of Tübingen Dr. phil. PhD. Rudolf was a professor of history at the Weingarten University of Education . Together with Edgar Walter (* 1931), also professor of history at the PH Weingarten, he published the textbook series “Geschichte und Gegenwart” for secondary schools in the 1980s.

In 1995 he was awarded the culture prize of the cities of Ravensburg and Weingarten , and in 2018 with the citizen medal of the city of Weingarten .

Rudolf was chairman of the Upper Swabian Society for History and Culture .

He has been a member of the Catholic student union AV Cheruskia Tübingen since 1963 .

Rudolf lives in Weingarten (Württemberg) .
