Society's goals

According to its statutes , the aim of the company is to develop regional awareness of the landscape between the Swabian Alb and Lake Constance, between Lech and the Black Forest.

This definition of Upper Swabia includes areas in what is today Baden-Württemberg and what is today Bavaria. Between 1809 and 1810 Upper Swabia was divided into parts, which fell to the Kingdom of Bavaria , Württemberg , the Grand Duchy of Baden and the Principality of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen . Actually today only the residents of "Neuwuerttemberg" south of the Danube in the districts of Biberach , Ravensburg and parts of Sigmaringen and the Alb-Danube district feel like Upper Swabia.
