Culture award from the cities of Ravensburg and Weingarten
The culture award of the cities of Ravensburg and Weingarten is a joint culture award of the neighboring cities of Ravensburg and Weingarten in Upper Swabia . It was founded in 1977 as a culture and science prize in order to “recognize and promote outstanding achievements in the fields of art and science”. In 2011, by changing the statutes, the prize was focused on services in the field of art and culture with the abandonment of science. The prize is to be awarded every two to three years. The main prize is endowed with 6500 €, the sponsorship prize with 3500 €.
