Landa is characterized by the precision craftsmanship and the preference for objectivity of the modern Leipzig school . Her expressive portraits, half-figures, shoulder pieces and depictions of heads - often reduced to the face of the sitter - are characterized by expressive, dynamic brushwork and strong and bright colors. An intensive preoccupation with the models and in particular the ability to convey an emotional depth is what defines Landa's previous work.
