Alexander Funk (film producer)

Alexander Funk (* 1974 in Backnang ) is a German film producer .

Live and act

Alexander Funk was born in Backnang in 1974. After studying American cultural history , media law, and communication studies, he completed several internships in film productions . In autumn 2000, Alexander Funk began studying film production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . He finished his studies in February 2004 with a diploma. During his studies, Alexander Funk worked for the Ludwigsburg film production company GAMBIT Film GmbH as a production manager and producer . From 2004 to 2006 he worked there as a permanent producer. Since June 2006 Alexander Funk has been working with Funkfilme | Alexander Funk Filmproduktion started his own film production company. In addition, since 2009 he has been managing director of the film production company Oberon Film GmbH , based in Munich and Berlin .

Funk is a member of the German Film Academy .
