Die Unzerbrechlichen is a German documentary from 2006. Dominik Wessely's film describes the unexpected rescue of the Theresienthal glassworks in the Bavarian Forest, which had to file for bankruptcy in April 2001.

background

The revitalization of the traditional Theresienthal glassworks in 2004 was the result of a project controlled by the Eberhard von Kuenheim Foundation , in which several dozen partners from business, politics and the third sector largely participated free of charge. Director Dominik Wessely accompanied this project with the camera over a period of more than two years (October 2003 to February 2005). Die Unzerbrechlichen launched in Germany on January 18, 2007, and premiered on July 21, 2006 at the Munich International Film Festival . The history of the revitalization of the Theresienthal glassworks is also the subject of the factual report "Enterprises instead of omissions", which was also written by Dominik Wessely, together with Christoph Glaser.
