Hans Ernest Unger (* 1915 in Prenzlau , † 1975 in London ) was a German graphic designer , poster and mosaic artist .

Life

Hans Unger was born in Prenzlau and studied poster art with Jupp Wiertz in Berlin from 1934 to 1935 . In 1936 he emigrated to South Africa and worked as a commercial artist in Cape Town . In 1948 he moved to London , where he worked as a successful poster designer a. a. worked for London Transport and Post Office.
