Hans Unger (politician)

Hans Unger (born July 17, 1897 in Großpetersdorf ; † October 5, 1981 there ) was an Austrian bricklayer and politician ( SPÖ ). Unger was a member of the Burgenland Landtag from 1948 to 1949 .

Hans Unger was born as the son of the worker Paul Unger from Großpetersdorf. He attended elementary school in his home community and then worked as a bricklayer, working as a commuter and migrant worker. Between 1915 and 1918 Unger did military service and then worked as a bricklayer and foreman at home and abroad. Unger was a member of the construction workers' union and the Social Democratic Labor Party. Unger was mayor of Großpetersdorf between 1946 and 1949 and then again employed as a construction foreman until 1962. Unger represented the SPÖ from July 26, 1948 to November 7, 1949 in the state parliament.

Hans Unger was married.
