Hans Völter (politician)

Hans Völter (born July 16, 1890 in Pforzheim , † May 19, 1944 in Berlin ) was a German politician (SPD).

After attending elementary school and high school in Pforzheim, Völter studied law and political science in Heidelberg , Munich and Vienna from 1909 to 1913 . 1913 doctorate in Heidelberg Völter to Dr. phil. A year later, in 1914, he married.

From 1914 to 1918 Völter took part in the First World War. From 1918 he worked full-time in the civil service movement. After joining the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) around 1910 , he became politically active for the first time on a large scale in 1922 as a managing board member of the General German Association of Officials . In the Reichstag election of September 1930, Völter finally entered parliament as the SPD's Reich election proposal. After his mandate was confirmed in the elections in July and November 1932, Völter was a member of the Reichstag until March 1933.
