Hans Volkmann (politician)
Hans Volkmann (born August 1, 1893 in Merseburg , † September 27, 1957 in Erfurt ) was a German politician ( KPD ).
Live and act
Volkmann attended the elementary school in Merseburg. He then worked constantly as a locksmith in large companies, including in the Leunawerk, where he was also a member of the works council.
After the First World War , Volkmann joined the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). In 1929 he was expelled from the Free Trade Union because of his candidacy on the list of the opposition in the works council election in the Leunawerk .
In the general election of September 1930, Volkmann was a candidate of his party for the constituency 11 (Merseburg) in the Reichstag voted, where he remained until July 1,932th He was also a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Saxony .
