Hans Wunderlich

Hans Wunderlich (born June 18, 1899 in Munich , † December 26, 1977 in Osnabrück ) was a German journalist and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

Wunderlich worked as an editor during the Weimar Republic . After the National Socialists came to power, he worked as a gardener, fruit planter and poultry farmer. In 1945 he became a license holder of the Nordwestdeutsche Rundschau and from 1953 worked as a political editor at the Westfälische Rundschau , whose editor-in-chief he later took over.

Political party

Wunderlich joined the SPD in 1920. After the Second World War he took part in the re-establishment of the party and from July 1947 was deputy chairman of the SPD district association Aurich , Osnabrück and Oldenburg .

Wunderlich was a member of the Parliamentary Council in 1948/49 .
