Hans von Bertele
Hans Bertele von Grenadenberg (born July 2, 1903 , † July 3, 1984 in England ) was an Austrian electrical engineer, watch collector and watch historian.
Life
Von Bertele began collecting stamps early on, which he later exchanged for chandeliers and candlesticks. From the 1930s he discovered his interest in old clocks and built up a comprehensive collection of clocks and clock literature. After the war he lived in England and later in Vienna. In 1958 he was appointed professor for industrial electronics at the Vienna University of Technology . He died in 1984 during a stay in England .
