Hans von Gontard

Hans Albrecht Heinrich Friedrich von Gontard (born January 28, 1861 in Wesel , † June 20, 1931 on Gut Großwudicke near Rathenow ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

From 1904 Gonhard was initially a wing adjutant to Kaiser Wilhelm II and later his serving general à la suite . As such, Gontard was promoted to lieutenant general on February 17, 1914. During the First World War he was promoted to serving adjutant general and also held the office of house marshal.

After the monarch's abdication, Gontard followed him into exile in Doorn and worked as court marshal .
