Hansjürg Weder
Hansjürg Weder (born August 10, 1928 in Basel ; † January 7, 2018 ) was a Swiss nature and homeland conservationist , free economist and politician ( LdU ).
At the age of sixteen, Weder took part for the first time in an event organized by free economists, which was led by architect Hans Bernoulli in Basel . From 1964 to 1976 he was a Grand Councilor in Basel . In the 1970s, Weder was chairman of the Basel homeland security. In 1975 he co-organized the occupation of the site of the planned Kaiseraugst nuclear power plant . From 1983 to 1995 Weder was a member of the National Council, where he was a member of the Finance Commission.
