Hanzei ( Japanese 反正 天皇 , Hanzei-tennō ; * January 23, 336 (?); † February 12, 410 ) was according to the history books Kojiki and Nihonshoki the 18th Tennō of Japan (406-410). Historians identify him with the Japanese King Chin ( Chinese   ) in documents such as the Song Shu and the Liang Shu (called Mi ( Chinese   ) here ) from the Chinese Empire .

After Kojiki and Nihonshoki , he was a son of Emperor Nintoku , and his proper name was Mitsuhawake (prince with beautiful teeth). His brother Emperor Richū made Hanzei crown prince. He had three daughters and a son, who did not take the throne.
