The Happy Land is a Swiss theme park and is located in Granges between Sion ( Sion ) and Sierre ( Sierre ) on the bank of the Rhone . The 25,000 m² park is open from mid-March to the end of October.
history
The amusement park opened in 1988 with an investment of 3 million francs with five children's cars on a track and five push boats. The site was enlarged in 1990 and the owner invested 1.5 million francs in new facilities. A further investment of 5 million francs in 2006 created additional amusement opportunities for families with children and superlatives for Switzerland, such as the highest and largest wild water course in the country.
