Harald Cronauer (born December 4, 1956 ) is a German lawyer and former politician ( FDP ).

Life

After studying law and political science at the University of Saarland with a short stay at the London School of Political Sciences and Economics Cronauer 1985 with a thesis on the international treaty in the tension between constitutional and international law Dr. jur. PhD. He worked as a research assistant at the Europa-Institut and at the Institute for European Law and Comparative Law at Saarland University. He found a job as a legal advisor at AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke , where he held various positions until 2004.

Cronauer had been a member of the FDP since 1981. From 1991 to 1994 he was chairman of the FDP regional association Saar and in this function at the same time a member of the FDP federal executive committee .
