Harald Eia

Harald Meldal Eia (born February 9, 1966 in Bærum ) is a Norwegian sociologist and entertainer .

Career

Together with Bård Tufte Johansen he is the author of several successful comedy TV series for Norwegian Radio , such as Lille Lørdag (1995), Åpen Contribution (1998–2002), Uti vår hage (2003), Team Antonsen (2004), Tre Brødre som ikke er Brødre (2005), Uti vår hage 2 (2008) and Storbynatt , as well as the radio comedy shows Herreavdelingen (1997) and Tazte priv (2004-2005). He played popular characters like Lena (a parody of the character of Doden på Oslo S ) and Oslolosen . He can also be seen as a stand-up comedian and in theater sport and has had supporting roles in Norwegian films such as Detector (2000) and United (2003).

Eia studied sociology at the University of Oslo in 1992 and graduated with the thesis Lidende leather og competent calculators. Næringslivsfolks symbolske kamper .

Hjernevask (German: brainwashing)

In 2010 Eia presented a seven-part television documentary called Hjernevask (dt brainwashing.) Before, in which he a culturally determined human behavior that spread among Norwegian intellectuals model - known by the technical term social sex ( gender ) - criticized and with scientists from the UK and the USA added aspects of a natural, innate social interaction. In the report, he criticized Norwegian social scientists as restricted, prejudiced and ideologized because they saw babies as "blank slates" and ignored genetic differences between men and women. In a politically correct manner, gender and equality are emphasized and promoted at the expense of biological gender.

For this documentary series he was awarded the Fritt-Ord -Ehrenpreis (Free Word) for outstanding journalistic work in 2010 .
