Harald Goldau

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Harald Goldau (* 1957 in Rathenow ) is a German production engineer and mechanical engineering professor for production technology and has been working at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences since 2002 .

Life

His professional career began in 1979 with a degree in the metalworking industry at the TU Magdeburg , which he completed in 1984. He received his doctorate in 1987 with a thesis on the use of structure-borne noise signals for tool monitoring. From 1986 to 2002 he worked as a development engineer, technologist and development manager in several machine tool companies in Magdeburg and Wuppertal . Since 2002 he has been a professor for the field of production engineering and production metrology at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. As early as 2004, he initiated the establishment of a spin-off for manufacturing technology, InKRAFT - Ingenieurgesellschaft für Kraft controlled adaptive Fertigungstechnik mbH, which was awarded a Hugo Junkers innovation prize and a special prize for the development of an endoscope in 2013 . Goldau is a member of the coordination committee of the Competence Network for Applied Technology Transfer and has been Vice Rector for Research, Development and Technology Transfer at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences since 2014 . In 2016 he received the Gruson plaque of honor from the Association of German Engineers (VDI).
