Harald K. Schulze (* 1952 in Schmölln , Upper Lusatia ) is a German painter and draftsman. He mainly works on the blackboard. His work also includes wall paintings, ceiling designs and room design for public buildings and private houses. There are approaches to Renaissance painting through copies of pictures by Hieronymus Bosch ( John on Patmos , Garden of Earthly Delights , The Juggler, etc.). Another area of ​​work is illusionistic wall painting.

Harald K. Schulze works in his studio in Müncheberg (Brandenburg / Märkisch-Oderland) and in Borgomaro (Italy / Liguria).

Life

Harald K. Schulze was born in Schmölln in the former GDR in 1952. From 1973 to 1978 he studied at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art, where he obtained his diploma. From 1978 to 1980 he did an apprenticeship with Walter Womacka . Harald K. Schulze has been working as a freelancer since 1980.

In 1981 the artist group "NEON REAL" was founded. The initiators were Harald K. Schulze, Clemens Gröszer and Rolf Biebl . In 1982 he withdrew to the Oderbruch, where he built a studio. The painter had his first stay in Italy in 1987, since then there have been annual stays. In 1995 Harald K. Schulze received the main design award of the BUGA Cottbus with Jürgen Hartmann. In 1997 he was again a co-founder of an artist group called "kg 849".
