Harald Sulzbacher

Harald Sulzbacher (born August 7, 1965 in Korneuburg ) is an Austrian jazz pianist , keyboard player , composer and music producer .

Life

Sulzbacher studied at the Vienna Conservatory with Friedrich Gulda student Roland Batik and with Rudi Wilfer jazz piano.

During and after his studies he played in numerous bands. Among others with Shlomit Butbul , Yitka Woodhams , Sandra Pires and several instrumental formations. Together with the drummer Thomas Lang , he began writing pop songs for various performers in the early 1990s.

In the course of his work as an advertising music producer, he met his long-term partner, the bassist and sound engineer Stephan Kolber , around the same time . With him he wrote over 100 songs and in 1996 founded the music production company GOSH! Productions . An exclusive contract as a composer with the publishing house Warner / Chappell Music was the result of this collaboration.

With the pop group Blondes Have More Fun , the duo Sulzbacher / Kolber landed a hit that became the most played pop song of the year on Austrian radio.

In 2004, Redd Angel and the title I'm Sorry were charted in South Africa.

In addition to the renaming of the company in gosh! Audio , a recording studio complex was opened in Vienna. a. Austria's number 1 pop star, Christina Stürmer , already recorded her albums.

Harald Sulzbacher is now working as a keyboard player, composer and music producer in his own studio. a. numerous advertising jingles, corporate sounds for companies and music productions have been created. He also worked on the TV show Starmania under the direction of Falco keyboarder Thomas Rabitsch .
