There he performed with the bassist Hans Hölzel (later Falco ) and accompanied him on his tours from 1984 to 1994 as a band leader and live keyboardist. In the 1980s he also worked with numerous well-known and lesser-known Viennese interpreters, including Peter Cornelius , Boris Bukowski , Dana Gillespie and Franz Morak . From 1991 to 1996 he was a member of Heli Deinboek's band . In 1990 he was the producer of the first Austrian hip-hop album Swound Vibes by The Moreaus a . a. with Peter Kruder .
In addition, Rabitsch produces audio books , theater and film music, etc. a. for F @ lco - A Cyber Show and is involved in numerous projects - u. a. from 2002 as musical director - active for Austrian radio . His better-known projects in this area include the musical direction of Starmania and Dancing Stars .
In 2004 Falco's Danube Island concert was released on DVD under the name LIVE Donauinsel , Rabitsch was the band leader and keyboard player. He produced the project. In the same year Rabitsch founded the label serious entertainment with Markus Spiegel and his wife Anja . Also in 2004 was the formation The Slow Club with Hansi Lang and Wolfgang Schlögl . Since 2006 he has been supporting Austrofred on the piano at the Austrofred Gala.
In 2007, Rabitsch and his team reconstructed Falco's 1994 concert in Wiener Neustadt, where Falco performed with a large orchestra for the only time. The image quality of the historical recordings has been significantly improved, all instrumental parts of the musical accompaniment have been replayed, only Falco's voice was originally taken over. The result was the DVD Symphonic , which was released on February 1, 2008 and immediately took first place in the Austrian charts.
In 2008 Rabitsch revised the recordings of Falco's Danube Island concert on the occasion of the anniversary of the Danube Island Festival . This resulted in a so-called Anniversary Edition (DVD and CD in one) and a short time later individual versions. The Donauinsel Live edition was distributed by Sony BMG Music Entertainment and reached number 1 in the Austrian music DVD charts in the first week.
In 2009 he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award because of the music arrangements for Falco recordings ( Symphonic and Donauinsel Live ) .
For Nadine Beiler he composed and produced the soul ballad The Secret Is Love , with which Nadine won the Austrian qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf . The Secret Is Love reached the final of the competition and came in 18th.
