Harald Wessbecher
Harald Wessbecher (born April 20, 1954 in Karlsruhe ; † September 8, 2015 ) was a German author and offered esoteric seminars. He also called himself a "healer" and claimed to be a medium . Wessbecher lived near Zurich .
Harald Wessbecher grew up in a strictly religious family. At the age of 12, he says he had a "supernatural experience". He studied architecture at the University of Karlsruhe and then attended the College of Psychic Studies in London .
Wessbecher worked as an employee at the Institute for Consciousness Research of Robert Allan Monroe in the US state of Virginia , the inventor of the so-called hemispherical synchronization, in which sounds played through headphones are supposed to synchronize both halves of the brain. Following Monroe's model, Wessbecher began recording cassettes in German in the late 1980s using HemiSync technology and his voice. At this time he also started offering esoteric seminars.
In the mid-1990s, the heirs of the late Robert Monroe Wessbecher had the use of hemisync technology forbidden. Wessbecher then invents its own technologies that are intended to help achieve the state of trance (deep relaxation). There are meanwhile over 100 sound carriers of this type discussed by Wessbecher on various topics.
Harald Wessbecher appeared as a medium at so-called channeling seminars, with the answers to questions from the audience supposedly coming from "Harald 2".
