Harbin beer ( Chinese : 哈尔滨 啤酒, pinyin : Hā'ěrbīn Píjiǔ ) is a product of the Harbin brewery.

The Anheuser-BuschInBev (Harbin) Brewery Co., Ltd. is a Chinese brewery founded in Harbin in 1900 . Together with Manchuria , the brewery returned to China in 1946. In 1950 the brewery was nationalized. From the 1960s onwards, major investments were made in the brewery and the facilities were improved, so in 1973 the first sterilization machine in the entire Heilongjiang Province was put into operation. In 2003, SABMiller took over a 29.6% stake, and in 2004, after a tough takeover battle, the brewery was finally taken over by Anheuser-Busch . As China's fourth largest and oldest brewery, Harbin now has a market leading position in northeast China. Harbin increased its annual beer production to over 10 million hectoliters and became one of the largest breweries in China after being listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Today the brewery is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev .
