The Harpun Rocks are sea-washed reef rocks in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the group of the Melchior Islands they are located in Dallmann Bay 160 m southeast of Bill's Point on the Delta Island .
Your name appears for the first time on maps that were created in the course of surveys carried out by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations in 1927 . The name probably goes back to an earlier naming by whalers who named the rocks after the Norwegian term for harpoon .
