Harry Hoppe
Harry Hoppe (born February 11, 1894 in Braunschweig , † August 23, 1969 in Wetzlar ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Hoppe served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he was active in a volunteer corps and was accepted into the Reichswehr . There he was a general staff officer and commander in various units. During the Second World War he led the 126th Infantry Division and the 278th Infantry Division as commander .
