Heremaia "Harry" Ngata (born August 24, 1971 in Wanganui ) is a former New Zealand football player who was active in England and Ireland , among other places .

Career

In 1989 Ngata began his career in England at Hull City and was active there until 1992. From 1994 to 1995 he played in Australia with the Melbourne Zebras. In 1995 he played with the Bulleen Lions and North Shore United , 1996 with the Thomastown Zebras, 1997 with the Bulleen Inter Kings, formerly Bulleen Lions. From 1998 to 1999 he worked for Bohemians Dublin from Ireland, in the summer of 1999 he moved to the Auckland Football Kingz . In 2004 he ended his career.

With the New Zealand national team , Ngata won the 1998 OFC Nations Cup in the final against Australia . He also played with his country in the 1999 Confederations Cup in Mexico . He played a total of 28 international matches.
