Harry Eugene Simon (born July 13, 1873 in Beachwood , † June 8, 1932 in Catawba Cliffs ) was an American sports marksman .
successes
Harry Simon took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in part, in which he scored with the free gun. In the distance of over 1000 yards he finished 19th with 86 points. In the three-position fight over 300 m, Simon was in the lead after the prone and the kneeling attack, but fell back to second place behind Albert Helgerud after the standing attack and thus won the silver medal ahead of Ole Sæther .
Simon was a lieutenant in the 6th Ohio Infantry .
