Harsdorf is a village in the district of Oppin in the city of Landsberg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The place is only a few 100 meters southeast of Oppin. Further south are Ober- and Untermaschwitz . The vineyard runs north of the village . To the west of the locality, the federal motorway 14 passes.

history

A first documentary mention is from 1371 as Hardingstorp . In a major fire in 1689, the entire place burned down. On July 13th, the farmers of Harsdorf had to perform post-tensioning services to Halle (Saale) with four horses for the French Emperor Napoleon . In another fire on March 6th and 7th, 1827, the whole of Harsdorf burned down again.

In 1921, Harsdorf was combined with the villages of Oppin, Freiheit-Oppin , Inwend and Pranitz to form the municipality of Oppin. On January 1, 2010, Harsdorf was incorporated into the city of Landsberg as part of Oppins.

Facilities

The stable including the gate system at Harsdorfer Platz 10 is registered in the local register of monuments as an architectural monument.
